Halifax want to make sure everyone is able to access this website.
So we have:
- made sure that navigation throughout the site works in a consistent way.
- used a standard web font to make it easy for all to read. In most cases, the size of the font can be adjusted according to the users’ needs, using standard browser and operating system options.
- given all the images ‘alt text’ alternatives except those which are only decorative. In these cases the tags for these are left blank.
- given all the links are given a ‘title text’ alternative to explain where the link is directed.
- not used colour as the only way to convey information.
